It' s time to go nuts for almonds! Although almonds are high in fat, they
are still good for you. Several recent studies have shown that eating
almonds may help reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering LDL
cholesterol levels. This is due to the fact that almonds, like olive oil,
are high in monunsaturated fat, the so-called good fat. Almonds also
contain many different antioxidants including vitamin E which has been
closely linked to reducing the risk of heart disease.
Almonds are easily added to your diet. Try substituting almond butter for
